If proposals to introduce bus rapid transit into Bristol are to be realised, there are some changes which will need to be made to the layout of the city centre.
Draft plans have been drawn up looking at how Bristol city centre might incorporate a bus rapid transit system in the future.
By 2015 the bus rapid transit system must connect in the centre, working in harmony with the Greater Bristol Bus Network arrivals and departures. A rough plan has been drafted (Draft A), including before and after images.
We want to involve people at an early stage, before plans are finalised in order for people's views to influence the ongoing development of plans for a new layout.
So, these are early ideas and nothing has been decided.
