Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment 2008

Consultation Overview

Seven week period of consultation with specific stakeholders on the deliverability and developability of housing sites contained within the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) Stakeholder Technical Assessment (STA). The SHLAA STA seeks views from a range of organisations on the deliverability and developability of a number of sites in Bristol which are considered to have potential for housing development before 2026. The stakeholders consulted are considered to be able to provide technical expertise on the deliverability and developability of housing sites within Bristol.

Why We Are Consulting

The SHLAA STA builds on the 2006 Housing Land Availability Assessment, updating information with monitoring data and including new potential sites to reflect the Spatial Strategy of the emerging Bristol Development Framework (BDF) Core Strategy. It will provide evidence to support the development of BDF documents and must be complete when the Core Strategy is submitted to the Secretary of State.
