Local Development Framework: Core Strategy

Overview

The Core Strategy is one of the Development Plan Documents to be prepared as part of the Barrow-In-Furness Local Development Framework. Consultation is in three stages as prescribed by the regulations and as set out in the Council’s Statement of Community Involvement. The Core Strategy will set out the core spatial planning policies and the broad locations for meeting the Boroughs’ development needs, reflecting the spatial aspects of the Council’s Community Plan. Further details of the document and its timetable are set out in the Council’s Local Development Scheme (LDS).
