Housing Strategy Consultation
Overview
We have recently finished work on our draft Housing Strategy 2011-15, and would like your views. You can view the Strategy using the link at the bottom of the page.
Our Housing Strategy sets out how we intend to deliver our housing priorities, which are:
- Balancing the Housing Market
- Decent and Healthy Homes
- Supporting Vulnerable People.
The Strategy sets out the key challenges our district faces in delivering these housing priorities, and the actions we will take to effectively meet and overcome these challenges.
Ultimately, we are working to achieve our Housing Strategy vision, which is:
'Everyone can access affordable, safe and warm housing, and the support they need to live independently'.
Our Housing Strategy has been developed with the Carlisle Housing Partnership's thematic groups. Through the Carlisle Housing Partnership, we are developing action plans for each housing priority, which will be used to support and measure the performance of the Housing Strategy.
