The Issues & Options Stage is the next step in producing Carlisle’s Core Strategy. This document sets out the issues facing the District and suggests proposed options for inclusion in the Core Strategy to address these issues and provide the planning policy directions for growth development in the District until 2030. This consultation is more focused than the Key Issues with a questionnaire asking for preferences on a specific range of Options. Please note it is essential that you have read the Issues & Options paper when filling in the questionnaire.
