Kendal Highway Improvement Schemes
Overview
Kendal residents can have their say on suggestions to spend more than £300,000 to improve highways in the town at a series of drop ins.
I n July, County Councillors from South Lakeland agreed to earmark monies for Kendal to improve walking routes, parking, bus shelters, traffic lights and other highways infrastructure throughout the next 12 months.
Why we are consulting
Three drop in sessions are now being held were local people can view plans, ask questions and give their views on the council's suggestions:
22nd September, 11am to 1pm at ASDA, Burton Road, Kendal
26th September, 2.30pm to 6.30pm at Kendal College, Milnthorpe Road, Kendal
30th September, 11am to 1pm at Morrisons, Queen Catherine's Avenue, Kendal
Plans are also on display in Kendal Library until 15th September

What happens next
All comments received will be recorded and taken into consideration when the Highways Team draw up their final programme of works.
