Why we are consulting
Key to a high quality successful Local Transport Plan will be one which meets the needs of the residents, businesses and visitors to Cumbria. To help achieve this the Council will provide regular opportunities throughout the Local Transport Plan process to make comments on the Plan. The use of an external web based software will allow convenient access to the various stages to submit and comments and follow the different stages of the views.
We already have a database of consultees primarily made up of interest groups, organisations, local authorities and Parish Councils who will automatically be asked for their views on different stages of the Local Transport Plan process.
If you wish to make comments on this and future stages of the Plan and be added to the consultee database please simply register on Cumbria County Council Consultation Portal.
