School Transport Surveys

Overview

Why we are consulting

Cumbria County Council provides/funds home to school transport for over 15,000 children and young people across Cumbria. Every 2 years the council's school transport team conduct a survey of parents/carers of children using the service. The purpose of the survey is to gather information about their satisfaction with a range of elements of the service, eg. punctuality, cleanliness and application process.

The survey provides essential information and evidence for performance monitoring, performance management; service development and improvement.

Seperate surveys are conducted with parents/carers with children who use the special needs school transport service.
