Corporate Plan Refresh

Overview

The Corporate Plan is the Council's key document that outlines the public's priorities for the coming years. During the last Election that took place in May, residents raised a number of concerns they wanted addressing. As such, the Councillors have requested that the Corporate Plan is refreshed to include a number of the public's recent concerns.

A summary document of the Corporate Plan has been produced which highlights key actions that will be reported to the public on a regular basis. New actions have been inserted to better reflect public concern. In addition, the full Corporate Plan will have its duration extended by one year so it will run until 2015. You will need to download these documents which can be found at the bottom of the page so you can refer to them during the consultation questions.

Why we are consulting

The Council is consulting as it wants to make sure that it focuses its work and resources on the areas that are most important to the people of Eden.

We want your comments on the summary document to ensure that you will find it useful in monitoring the Council's performance and that you find all parts of it easily understandable. If you don't we can change it.

What happens next

Once we have your views, we will incorporate them wherever possible. In September we will take the refreshed Corporate Plan to a meeting of the full Council where we will ask Councilors to consider the amended document and agree it if they are content with it.
