Eden District Council and South Lakeland District Council Joint Older Persons’ Housing Strategy 2012 – 2017

 This is joint strategy prepared in partnership with Eden District Council and sets out the Council’s plans to enable housing and related support services to meet the needs and aspirations of our older population.

 The strategy has been developed with input from housing and voluntary sector partners involved in working with older people

 Comment and suggestions on the Strategy are welcome from all stakeholders with an interest in this area of work.

What Happens Next

Following the end of the consultation, responses will be considered and amendments to the strategy considered.   SLDC Cabinet will consider the Strategy at the end of June.
