The refreshed Cumbria Compact 2010/2011
Overview
The Compact outlines how public and voluntary & community sector organisations in Cumbria want to work together more effectively to strengthen communities and improve people’s lives. Its value comes from the commitment of organisations that sign up to work in partnership to deliver better services.
The Cumbria Compact was initially published in 2006, this draft Compact shares many of the commitments in the 2006 Compact, and builds upon them to reflect current legislation for example the Equality Act 2010.
Why we are consulting
We welcome questions and comments from anyone that wishes to contribute especially departments and organisations that regularly utilise the Cumbria Compact as part of their partnership work.
