Being Healthy Event 17.06.10

Overview

Awareness event for people with learning disabilities to inform NHS Rotherham and partners about how they would like things to be when they use each relevant service, and what they feel they would like and need services to be like.

Why We Are Consulting

Want to understand what exactly the type of services the general public with learning disabilities would want and like to have in the future.

What Happens Next

The information from this event will be collacted and fed back to the Learning Disability Board Sub Group within strategic Planning NHS Rotherham.

Results

The people who came to the event had access to the following services, Podiatry, Cancer awareness, health trainers, drinking/smoking cessation, dental access, patient opinion, PPE from RFT and NHS Rotherham, Speech and language and opthalmogy.

Services were able to talk to people with learning disabilities to find out what might make serives better.
