Overview

The London Borough of Sutton has been awarded 1.1 million pounds in capital funding in order to, by 2011, either build new, or completely or substantial replace, twenty two open access play environments, which will be primarily targeted at children aged eight to thirteen years old. In order to involve children, young people and their families in this programme, we are currently planning a range of detailed consultation exercises around the borough. However, this is an opportunity for our stakeholders (such as friends of the parks groups, community and voluntary sector organisations and residents) to share their views on our proposals.
